คืน - วัน night - day
ฝัน - จริง dream - reality
ทุกข์ - สุข sorrow – joy
ดี - เลว good – bad
มืด - สว่าง dark – bright
ดำ - ขาว black – white
แสงและเงา light and shadow
ดูดกลืนกันและกัน meet, meld,
ขีดเส้นแบ่งบางเบา penciling
ที่เราก้าวข้าม faint thin lines
ไม่รู้ตัว that we cross …unknowing
เมื่อมองสองด้าน when
ลอดบานประตู through the slits,
ใจจึงหยั่งรู้ we look behind both
ที่มา-ทางไป sides of the door
Then
does the heart know
whence we came
and whither to go
a gap opens
inviting a glance
a light gleams
inspiring thought
the way out is
always there
no matter how dim
the corner
จะเปิดหรือปิด to open or to shut -
ชวนคิดตรองดู a point
แสงเงาใต้ประตู to contemplate…
